MPIO

MPIO DSM 2.0.0.13 does not support Microsoft Cluster. The current release of the

R/Evolution MPIO DSM does not correctly implement a feature required for

Microsoft Cluster.

Documentation Issues

The Getting Started Guide describes point-to-point cabling. Point-to-point cabling is

not supported. Use loop mode only.

The Getting Started Guide should specify that the supported browsers can be later

versions of Firefox or Opera.

ThecommandsintheCLIaredescribedinboththeCLI Reference Manual and in

the on-line help system. Table 13 summarizes changes between the commands and

their descriptions in the manual and on-line help.

expand

vdisk

There should be a caution that this command can take hours or days

to complete. CLI Reference Manual only.

restart The caution should state: “If you shut down the controller you are

connected to, your connection is lost until the restart is complete. If

you shut down both controllers, you and users lose access to the array

and its data until the restart is complete.” On-line help only.

show cache-parameters The Volume Serial and Volume Name fields are omitted.

show cli-parameters The Timeout field is in the wrong position, and Session Output

Format should be Output Format.

show configuration Instead of ENCLOSURE STATUS as documented, the output has

sections titled SES and ENCLOSURE COMPONENTS, and there are

separate sections for MIDPLANE FRU and ENCLOSURE FRU

information.

show controller-date The correct field name is Controller Date.

show disks The Rate (Gb/s) field is omitted.
